Connected Kids Thrive started as a Facebook page to connect with like-minded parents interested in a better, more conscious way of parenting their children. Now it also includes educators who are interested in elevating their team’s behavioral understanding. We also have a different fb group for NS Founders and Teachers - our Positive Behaviors Guide for Nature Schools.
We strive to create an environment to help children (and guides) thrive, especially as the world pushes for the use of technology and other distractions more and more. We feel that the learning of a child transcends the classroom and can be applied throughout their life to improve their mental health, behavior, curiosity, and understanding. We’re here to help you create world changers- your guides and children alike!
​We give parents the materials to bring the lessons from their forest school home. Connect with your children in meaningful ways like gardening, cooking together, or playing outside. Play connection-based games, teach them the importance of positive discipline, and improve their emotional wellness while bonding alongside them. ​
​​For educators, we provide materials to improve the behavioral component of your forest school setting so your, your staff, your parents, and your students receive the support and learning opportunities they deserve. We offer online courses, printable resources, development workshops, and more to help you empower the guides and children in their development and growth.

Children are not meant to be confined to a desk throughout the day; they need time to process what they are learning and apply it. They need time to explore and pursue their curiosities while learning from those experiences, all with careful supervision. Forest schools provide the opportunity for children to learn at their own pace in a healthier environment, and this education is something that educators and parents can capitalize on to deepen their learning and bonds, respectively.
